H&B Foods T/A The Cheese Cellar is a company with a long history of supplying quality cheese and ingredients to the foodservice industry. With depots in London, Worcester and Manchester and third party distributors, we supply across the UK and internationally.
They employ 314 staff across the multiple locations and have a turnover of £63 million.

Who are we and what do they do?

H&B Foods is a wholesaler and processor of cheese products (86% of turnover) and speciality foods (14% of turnover).
Their customers are contract caterers, travel caterers, hotels and restaurants as well as quality food manufacturers throughout the country and sales are split evenly between these main customer segments.
His strategy is to be the supplier of choice for the foodservice sector for speciality and/or quality foods with respect to cheese and dairy products and certain speciality food ranges. The aim is to focus on developing niche market areas supported by quality products and excellent customer service.

Accreditations

H&B Foods T/A Cheese Cellar is accredited under the internationally recognised Retail Consortium Technical Standard (BRC) and we continue to achieve Grade A, the highest level possible. Our wholesale operations are certified against the CMI Wholesaling, Storage and Distribution Standards, where we have gained the higher level.
Hygiene standards are constantly monitored by our own technical team, who are able to offer full support, including allergy status, specifications, microbiological data and nutritional information.
